Friday 5/23 Doc O'Grady's at 9:00pm. See Mike & The Slingers (aka Mike and Ellen Volpe of CrossFit Garden City) perform live! Come on down, have a drink, and sing along.
Friday 5/23 BK Sweeney's Lobster Bake starts up again. Just $31.95 for a 2lb lobster dinner.
Saturday 5/24 and Sunday 5/25. Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach in Wantagh 10am-3pm on both days. $10 per vehicle
Saturday 5/24 see the Marine and Helicopter Landing at Eisenhower Park's Kite Field. 10am-2pm. Admission free
Saturday 5/24- catch the Town of North Hempstead's annual Memorial Day Fireworks at Park West Shore Road in Port Washington. 6pm. Come for festivities and live music. Fireworks begin at dark. Free admission; $5 to park.
Saturday May 24th- Bring a friend to CrossFit Garden City! Each morning class will have extra coaches on hand to assist friends through their first CrossFit workout.
Memorial Day at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. 50 Cathedral Ave. Church service at 9am, Parade at 10am (intersection of Stewart and Cherry Valley Aves), Festival starts at noon and runs until 4pm. Come by for pony rides, petting zoo, crafts, dunking booth, rides, games and more. Live music at 1pm and 3pm.
Memorial Day- If you're tired of manning the grill by the time Monday rolls around, Capo Ristorante on Covert Ave, Floral Park will be OPEN on Memorial Day.
Outdoor dining is now open at Revel on Franklin Ave.
Garden City Community Park Tennis Center and Platform Tennis Courts are now open from 8am-11pm, 7 days a week.
