Weekend Events Guide: April 10th Edition

The Inside Garden City Weekend Events Guide is here! From Dinosaur Train to the Price is Right, chances are you won't be bored in and around Garden City this weekend. 



Saturday- Lakeshore Learning Store will hold a free craft for kids. Drop in anytime between 11am-3pm. 2079 Hillside Ave, New Hyde Park.

Saturday- The dinosaurs have come to town! The Tilles Center is proud to host Dinosaur Train Live; Buddy's Big Adventure. 2pm. Tickets $15-$50. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.

Saturday- Come on out for the Legendary Murphys playing live at the Beer Hall at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant and Bar. 7:30pm-11:30pm. Click here for details. 1132 Hempstead Tpke., 516-354-3131 

Saturday- See Hopper at Adelphi University. This musical about Halloween in Salem Massachusetts ends on April 12th so don't' miss it! Ages: 13 and up. Cost: $20. Olmsted Theatre. Sat, 2pm and 7:30pm, Sun. 2pm. Click here for details about this performance and ticket information.

Saturday- Finding Fossils takes place at the LI Children's Museum at 2pm. Ages: 5 and up. Find details here.

Saturday- Make sure you catch an Islanders game at Nassau Coliseum before they leave! 7pm against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Hempstead Tpke., Uniondale. Click here for tickets. 

Saturday and Sunday- Children's Carnival in Floral Park from 11am-6pm at the Queens County Farm Museum in Floral Park. Carnival rides, games, prizes, hayrides and more!

Saturday and Sunday- Manhasset's Spring Festival takes place from 10am-5pm in the Parks Dept Main Lot on Manhasset Ave. Crafts, antiques, food and more!

Sunday- The Price is Right comes to NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Get set for an evening of fun and a chance to win prizes! Buy tickets here. 4pm. Ages: 13 and up. 960 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury.

  1. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great spot or place to go and attend the best party hotel nyc while eating and trying lesser known things. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is great!
